The Swift Engine is the powerhouse that will take the Hawk Jnr from Earth to space. A modern engine, highly efficient, highly manufacturable, and optimised for the Hawk Jnr.

AMAZING FROM GROUND TO SPACE

From the moment it is launched, during its flight through the atmosphere and until it reaches space, the Swift Engine ensures an optimal working performance and efficiency is obtained in all flight stages.

Designed for the groundbreaking Single Stage to Orbit Hawk Jnr, the Swift Engine ahcieves that by using a nozzle extension to ensure the expansion of the flow is compensated due to altitude changes. When the engine works at sea level, the extension is stowed. During flight, the extension is deployed to ensure efficient propulsion is maintained until the payload is deployed into orbit.

Powering our Swift engine and its advanced full-flow staged combustion cycle are its two turbopumps, Mallee and Rosella. Designed in house, the pumps were especially designed to make Swift a modern, efficient and powerful engine.
